Last Saturday, hubby and I went to a beautiful wedding of a friend of ours. It was the first wedding we attended this year and we had a wonderful time.

I love going to spring weddings. It’s not hot and it’s not cold. The temperature was just perfect even though Saturday was a little cloudy and cool.

To me, any dress with a vibrant color would do the trick for a spring wedding party look. When I was going through my closet to get my outfit figured out, this beautiful bright green sheath dress jumped into my eyes. I got it from EXPRESS a couple of years ago. You may be like, “Really? Do you have to go GREEN because it’s spring? ” Well, I would say, “YES!” and “Why not?!” 😉

Other than its color, I loved how this dress was smartly tailored and how much details were put into it. The draped embellishments were beautifully set in the front. The boat neck design offers a chic and sophisticated look. This dress fits me perfectly for my petite figure. I was wearing a size XS.

As for accessories, I pair the dress with my favorite oversized pink/silver clutch from BCBGeneration, which I discovered from TJMaxx for only $10.00 a few years ago. And then I put on a pair of pearl drop statement earrings. These are one of my deeply adored earrings collection, sorry I forgot where I got them from. But I’ve worn them to many cocktail parties, wedding parties etc. They are simple yet bold.

Hope you liked this look as I did!
